Thank you for stopping by to find out a little more about me. Weaver Photography consists mainly of myself, Joe Weaver. My darling wife Cathy will likely be involved in your session as my assistant. She is truly my other half in every way. We live in the Goodlettsville area with our animals (Three cats and two dogs.) and more plants than we know what to do with sometimes.

I have lived in the Nashville area for 25+ years now and lived in Tennessee all my life. Over the course of my time in the Nashville area I have had the opportunity to become familiar with much of it and the surrounding communities. I truly love the Tennessee Valley and can't imagine living anywhere else.

I suppose I've always been visually oriented. For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to explore the world of photography. From watching with rapt attention as my uncle's Polaroids developed, to recently getting my hands on some pristine 25 year old Nikkors, my passion has never faltered.

My approach to photography is one of bringing out the best in everything. With portraits I try to catch that spark that makes each individual unique. Events are all about capturing the moments that will bring a smile to your face or a tear to your eye every time you see them again. That is one of the primary reasons I like to spend a little time with each client before we begin. The more we know about each other, the more comfortable you will be and more likely you are to allow your inner self to shine through.

I take whatever I do seriously, and your portraits or event photos are no exception. Dedication to bringing you memories that will last a lifetime are my number one priority. My desire is to bring a strong sense of honesty and honor to your photography experience.
